"This is the end of an era"
This profound declaration was made by John Jameson at his Father's memorial service this past March. It has not been a statement that only applied to himself. Many of us have lost a parent, or maybe both parents, and can relate to his comment. There may be others I am unaware of but over the past year or two the following fellow Hornets have gone through this time of sadness at the passing of a parent. Some of us knew these parents as they made meals for us or housed us during our school days. The passing of some of these parents touches us and brings back fond memories. Any fun memories of times spent with these special folks I know would be appreciated if you could pass them on to their families. It is hard for me to realize my Dad has been gone 16 years now and still I enjoy hearing stories and memories from people who remember him. You might want to make a note to tell one of the following folks your thoughts and memories.
There will be an opportunity to get together for David Ault at the memorial service being planned to honor his dad and Westminster's Coach, Richard Ault, at the memorial service at 1:00pm on August 18 at the St. Mary Aldermanbury Church on the Westminster campus. I hope to see some of you there.
Please remember :
